Admirals Fuel Roster with AHL Experience, Sign Jordan Hill

NORFOLK, Va. - The Norfolk Admirals announce today that the club has agreed to terms with defenseman Jordan Hill for the upcoming 2015-16 season.
Hill, 26, spent the previous three seasons in the American Hockey League (AHL) with St. John's and Bridgeport, making 137 appearances as well as 18 in the playoffs for the IceCaps in 2013-14. In all, the Sarnia, Ontario native brings 197 games of AHL experience to the Admirals, the most of any player currently on the Admirals' roster. He has eight markers and 25 assists in the AHL for St. John's, Bridgeport, Manchester and Manitoba. In 34 career ECHL contests, the 6-foot-2, 195-pound stay-at-home defenseman scored three times and recorded seven assists for the Ontario Reign. The 2015-16 campaign will be Hill's sixth as a professional.
The Admirals open the 2015-16 season at home on October 16 versus the Wheeling Nailers at 7:30 p.m. Season tickets start at $400 and 10-pack tickets start at just $125.
