Tuesday Night's Canaries Game Postponed Due to Rain and Poor Field Conditions

SIOUX FALLS, SD- Tuesday night's American Association series opener between the Sioux Falls Canaries and Laredo Lemurs has been postponed due to rain and poor field conditions.
The contest will be made up as part of a Wednesday night double-header at Sioux Falls Stadium, with two seven inning games scheduled to start at 5:00 PM. Game two of the double dip will begin approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first game.
LHP Miguel Pena (6-6, 3.15 ERA) will take the mound in the opening game of the series, with RHP Jeremy Strawn (2-12, 5.16 ERA) getting the call in the night cap.
Tickets from Tuesday night's regularly scheduled game will be accepted for admittance into both games in Friday night's double header.

Fans can catch all the action home and away on AM-1230, FM-98.1, Sioux Falls Sports Radio KWSN. Pre-game coverage will begin at 4:45 PM as the "Voice of the Canaries" JJ Hartigan will bring all the latest news related to Canaries baseball.
