Boise Hawks News Release
Boise, Idaho - The Boise Hawks surpassed the 2014 attendance total following the game against the Eugene Emeralds at Memorial Stadium on Monday night.
Following the 30th home game of the season, a total of 88,391 fans have come through the Memorial Stadium gates, exceeding the entire 2014 total of 87,519.
The Hawks have recorded 10 sellout crowds this year with three home games exceeding 4,000 fans, including a season high 4,290 on July 3. The new nightly promotions such as "Feed Your Face Monday" have brought larger weekday crowds and Kohl the "Bat Dog" has entertained fans all season long while retrieving the player's bats.
"We are very pleased to have reached such a great milestone and we want to thank all of our guests from across the Treasure Valley for showing us such amazing support this season," said general manager, Bob Flannery. "Our staff has worked incredibly hard to ensure every guest that enters Memorial Stadium has a wonderful experience and we will continue to do that moving forward."
With eight remaining home games and an average of nearly 3,000 fans a game, the Hawks look to soar past the 100,000 mark in season attendance for the first time since 2010.
