Padlo Powers Hawks to 6-4 Win

Pasco, Washington - Kevin Padlo extended his 11 game hitting streak with an RBI double and the Hawks rode a five run fifth inning to victory over the Tri-City Dust Devils on Sunday night.

The Dust Devils put up two runs in the second inning off Hawks starting pitcher, Colin Welmon before tacking on a third in the third inning on a Henry Charles RBI fielder's choice.

With the Dust Devils leading by three runs, the Hawks put together a fifth inning rally that plated five runs and gave the Hawks the lead, highlighted by an RBI double from the newly acquired, Jensen Park.

The Hawks played add on in the seventh inning, scoring on a Marcos Derkes RBI single to take a 6-3.

The Dust Devils got one run back in the bottom of the eighth inning on an A.J Kennedy RBI double but it would not be enough as the Hawks took the final game of this five game series by a score of 6-4.

The Hawks (5-13) will travel back to Memorial Stadium tomorrow night to face the Eugene Emeralds (10-8) for a three game series. First pitch is set for 7:15 p.m.

Notes: Kevin Padlo hit an RBI (41) double in the fifth inning that extended his hitting streak to 11 games... Hamlet Marte added his 17th RBI of the season... The Hawks tied a season high with five runs in an inning for the third time this year... Logan Cozart picked up his first win of the season... Cristian Quintin grabbed his fourth save.
