Novak Leaves Mooseheads Camp

Forward Jakov Novak has voluntarily left Halifax Mooseheads training camp. The 17-year-old from Riverside, Ontario was claimed off waivers by the Mooseheads earlier in the week.
Defenceman Cody Donaghey arrived on Friday which means there are currently 46 players at training camp, while import player Otto Somppi will report next week after participating in the Ivan Hlinka Memorial Cup.
The Mooseheads will host their first preseason game tonight at 7pm when the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles visit the Halifax Forum.
