Calgary Roughnecks News Release

Calgary, AB - The Calgary Roughnecks today announced the National Lacrosse League club has re-signed transition player Karsen Leung to a two-year contract.

Leung, named one of three finalists for the 2015 NLL Transition Player of the Year award, recorded 11 goals and 35 points along with 79 loose balls in his second season with the Roughnecks. Selected by Calgary in the second round, 10th overall, in the 2013 NLL Draft, the 25-year-old from Victoria, British Columbia finished his 2014 debut season sixth in rookie scoring with 29 points (11 goals, 18 assists) and was named to the NLL All-Rookie Team.

"Karsen brings a lot of athleticism to our lineup," said Roughnecks general manager Mike Board. "He has good hands, good speed and an ability to see the game. He is strong in transition, can put the ball in the net and has developed into a solid player on both sides of the ball. He showed his versatility last season as he was used out the back and front gates. We're fortunate to have such a dynamic and adaptable player in our lineup."

Calgary Roughnecks season tickets for the 2016 NLL season are now available. For more information on ticket packages and the exclusive privileges offered to Roughnecks season seat holders, visit calgaryroughnecks.com or contact customer service at 403-777-4646.
