Screaming Eagles Exhibition Games to Support Major Midget Hockey Teams

Sydney - The Cape Breton Screaming Eagles announced today that a portion of ticket sales from two of its pre-season games at Centre 200 will be donated to the Cape Breton Tradesmen and Cape Breton West Islanders.

The first exhibition game will support the Cape Breton Tradesmen and will take place on Friday, August 14th at 7pm against the Moncton Wildcats, while the Cape Breton West Islanders will receive a portion of ticket sales from the Screaming Eagles game against the Halifax Mooseheads on Saturday, August 29th at 7pm.

"We are pleased to be able to support these two great programs," said Screaming Eagles President Andre Cote. "They are important facets in our community and do an excellent job in developing hockey players across the island."

Attending training camp this year are six Cape Breton West Islanders including goaltender Levi Denny, defenseman Mark Kennedy, forwards Alex Bonaparte, Declan Smith, Avery Warner and West Islander alumni Colby Tower. Representing the Cape Breton Tradesmen are forwards Logan O'Neil and Dylan Morley, along with Tradesmen alumni goaltender Michael O'Rielly and forward Cole Reginato.

The Screaming Eagles play a third pre-season game at the Emera Centre Northside on Sunday, August 23rd at 4pm. It is the fifth year that the Screaming Eagles will play a game at the Emera Centre Northside and once again a portion of ticket sales from the game will be directed to the Civic Centre Society.

General admission tickets for all three games are $10 including hst and are available at the both the C200 and Emera Centre box offices.
