Sea Dogs Reduce Training Camp Roster

SAINT JOHN - General Manager Darrell Young announced 14 players were reassigned from the training camp roster for the Saint John Sea Dogs following the third day of on-ice activities.

The following players are no longer in camp:

G Christopher Smith

G Tommy Viboux

D Nick Phillips

D Ryan Murphy

D Mitchell Arseneau

F Kallum Muirhead

F Morgan Barron

F Sean Ginnell

F Joshua Stewart

F Randon MacKinnon

F Anthony Salemi

F William Aubry

Some players left camp voluntarily to maintain their eligibility for NCAA hockey.

Forward Alexander Arab, who had been loaned to Saint John by the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies, has been released from his tryout.

Goaltender Blade Mann-Dixon has been loaned to the Moncton Wildcats pending a trade.

The training camp roster now sits at 47: five goaltenders, 16 defencemen and 26 forwards.

Camp continues Thursday with practices at 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m., followed by the team's first preseason game at 7 p.m. against the Acadie-Bathurst Titan at Harbour Station. It's our Fan Appreciation exhibition game. Tickets are FREE and available now at the Harbour Station Box Office, harbourstation.ca or by calling 657-1234. Tickets for other preseason games are also available.

Season tickets are on sale now at the Harbour Station Box Office. Season ticket holders can save up to $171 compared with single-game box office prices.
