Cane Cutters Finish With A Win!

Acadiana Cane Cutters News Release
The Cane Cutters win their second straight 2-0 on the last regular season game. The Cane Cutters are now 17-13 as the Strykers end their season 7-21.
The Cane Cutters exhausted their bullpen who collectively shutout the Strykers. Seven pitchers came to the mound for the Cane Cutters as the Strykers were unable to score.
The Cane Cutters scored first in the bottom of the second inning. Connor Short (University of Alabama) would reach on an error by the Strykers and later come around to score. Evan Williams (TCU) would record the second out while driving in Short.
Jalen Haskins (Pearl River Community College) would start the bottom of the seventh inning by being hit by a pitch. Haskins would then come around to score the second and final run of the game on Chance Vincent (University of Alabama) reaching on an error. Vincent was 1-4 and ended the regular season with a .394 batting average.
Tonight, the regular season concluded with Fan Appreciation Night and the C&G
Boats Shirt off the Back promotion! The camo jerseys worn by the players each Friday night were auctioned to the fans as it was a great atmosphere at Fabacher Field.
