Quenneville Among Those Selected to Team Canada

Calgary, AB - Hockey Canada, in partnership with the Canadian Hockey League, today announced its National Men's Summer Under-18 roster that will compete at the 2015 Ivan Hlinka Memorial Cup next week. Of the 22 players selected, 12 currently play in the WHL.

The roster was selected following a five-day selection camp that included daily practices and three Red-White intrasquad games during Hockey Canada's National Teams' Summer Showcase at the Markin MacPhail Centre at WinSport's Canada Olympic Park in Calgary.

The 12 WHL players selected to the 22-man roster were the most of any League. In total, 43 players attended the five-day selection camp.

The 2015 Ivan Hlinka Memorial Cup will take place between August 10-15 in Breclav, Czech Republic and Piestany, Slovakia. Team Canada has won the event the last seven consecutive years and 19 of 24 times since 1991.
