Pat Watkins Named CFL Player of the Week

(Edmonton) - Today, the Canadian Football League announced Eskimos corner back Pat Watkins as a CFL Player of the Week for Week 6.
During last Friday's 30-5 victory over the Saskatchewan Roughriders, Watkins tied for the team lead in defensive tackles with five. The four-year veteran also recorded a quarterback sack and two interceptions, including one taken back 47 yards for a touchdown. Watkins is tied for the league lead in interceptions with three.
This is his first CFL Player of the Week award this season.
