Normal CornBelters Have An Exciting Last Month of the 2015 Season

NORMAL, Ill. - The Normal CornBelters, presented by Illinois Corn Farmers, announced the remainder of their promotion schedule for 2015 season. Throughout the month of August and September, the Normal CornBelters will hold numerous promotions that everyone will want to be a part of. With tickets starting at only $6.00, there is no reason not to head out to the Corn Crib to enjoy these promotions.

The first home stand in the month of August will start on August 7th and will feature Corny's Birthday. Tommy Hawk, the mascot of the Chicago Blackhawks, will also be at the Corn Crib to help Corny celebrate his special day! Reminder every Friday home game fans can witness a fantastic fireworks show from the field after the game. Plus, there will be a "Salute to Armed Forces" in which the CornBelters will recognize active military members and veterans in attendance.

On Saturday, August 8th be at the Corn Crib to witness Little E., world's smallest Elvis Tribute, and be part of the Elvis Themed Contest! Come show your support for the Normal CornBelters as they battle the Rockford Aviators. Also, State Farm agents, employees and policy holders can purchase half priced Box Seat Tickets (only $6.00 each) by showing an employee ID card or insurance card at the Mid-Illini Credit Union Box Office to take advantage of this offer.

The Corn Crib will host Little E. once again on August 9th. Head out to the Corn Crib to be part of this experience! Game time is 3:05 p.m. and gates open at 2:05 p.m. Reminder every Sunday home game will feature post-game, on-field autographs from players, coaches and our favorite mascot Corny! All kids in attendance can run the bases after the game.

St. Jude Night at the Corn Crib presented by Illinois Farm Bureau is on Friday, August 14th. The mission of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. In support of St. Jude, players will be wearing custom designed game worn jerseys to be auctioned off during the game. 100% of jersey profits will be donated to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Winners will have the opportunity to take pictures with the players on the field after the game. St. Jude pin ups will be available at the box office and concessions for donations throughout the game. Reminder fans can also enjoy a fireworks show from the field after the game, as well as a "Salute to Armed Forces" in order to recognize active military and veterans in attendance.

Saturday, August 15th is Blackhawks night at the Corn Crib and also comedian Myron Noodleman will be entertaining the crowd as the Normal CornBelters go up against the Washington Wild Things. Reminder State Farm agents, employees and policy holders can purchase half priced Box Seat Tickets (only $6.00 each) by showing an employee ID card or insurance card at the Mid-Illini Credit Union Box Office.

Sunday the 16th comedian Myron Noodleman will be back at the Corn Crib. The game will feature post-game, on-field autographs from players, coaches and your favorite Mascot Corny! All kids in attendance are welcome to run the bases after the game.

Heartland Community College is kicking off its 25th Anniversary Celebration on August 21st at the Corn Crib. The first 750 guests in the ballpark will receive a drawstring sports bag, and Heartland is proud to sponsor Salute to Armed Forces with a Color Guard presentation. Come out, enjoy the game, cheer on the Cornbelters and celebrate Heartland's 25th anniversary.

Anna Jack will be at the Corn Crib as the Normal CornBelters take on the Frontier Greys on August 22nd. Reminder State Farm agents, employees and policy holders can purchase half priced Box Seat by showing an employee ID card or insurance card at the Mid-Illini Credit Union Box Office.

Anna Jack is back at the Corn Crib on Sunday the 23rd for Star Wars night at the Corn Crib! The game will feature post-game, on-field autographs from players, coaches and our favorite Mascot Corny! All kids in attendance can run the bases after the game, reminder every Sunday home game starts at 3:05pm.

Sept. 2nd is Mental Health Awareness Night at the Corn Crib. Head out to show your support and also enjoy Meijer Tail Waggin' Wednesday. Bring your four-legged friends to the ballpark and a Meijer receipt! Reminder, the first 25 fans to present this receipt (dated May-September) will receive four free reserved bleacher with back tickets. Plus one lucky fan will also receive a free $100 Meijer gift card!

Head out to the Corn Crib on Saturday, September 5th to witness the Amazing Christopher, and be part of Princess/Superhero Night! Fans that come dressed like their favorite princess or superhero will receive half off one box seat ticket. There will be a pregame princess/superhero parade, meet and greet with superheroes and princesses along the concourse, post-game kids can run the bases as players sign autographs, and there will be zoo lady face painting. Purchase a princess package which includes a tiara, two box seat tickets and two food vouchers, or a superhero package which includes a cape, two box seat tickets and two food vouchers for $25 per package.
