Armada FC Launch Support for "Say No to Racism" Campaign

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Jacksonville Armada FC is joining soccer clubs, leagues and governing organizations from around the world in support of the prominent "Say No To Racism" campaign.
The "Say No To Racism" campaign first began in Europe at Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) Champions League soccer matches more than 15 years ago. Since that time, spreading the message of the need to eliminate racism, discrimination and intolerance from the game, among its fans and from the communities in which they live and work has been a priority for UEFA, FIFA and professional teams throughout the world.
To show its support for the campaign, the Armada FC will display "Say No To Racism" banners in the stadium, on the scoreboard and on digital banners throughout Community First Park at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville during its fall season home North American Soccer League games.
"Racism, intolerance and discrimination have no place in our society. Having seen the impact that the "Say No to Racism" campaign has in other communities, I felt compelled to use the resources of the Armada FC to help promote this message, to take a stand and make a statement," said Mark Frisch, Armada FC team owner.
"We are very proud that our soccer club is made up of a diverse range of races and nationalities, and feel that we are in a unique position in our community to deliver this very important message," Frisch added.
