Yahn, Rohan Pace Blues to 12-4 Win

In last night's battle of the two division leaders in the FCBL, the Bristol Blues traveled to take on the Brockton Rox at Campanelli Stadium for a 4:30 matchup. The Blues newest addition, Willy Yahn (UCONN) got his first start at second base and was able to go 2-5 with a double and scored both times in the 12-4 win.

The Blues were led offensively by Gerrad Rohan (Youngstown) who was able to drive in four RBI's while going 3-6 for the night.

Blues starting pitcher Tim Cate (UCONN) only went two and two thirds innings, allowing four runs on five hits with three strikeouts added to the stat line. Blues winning pitcher however was Riley Striet (Amherst) while Brockton losing pitcher was Jesus Medina.

The Blues are back in action Tuesday, August 4, when the Seacoast Mavericks come out to Muzzy for Pink Night. First pitch is scheduled for 7pm.
