Tampa, FL - The Marauders (23-13, 55-51) split a doubleheader with the Tampa Yankees (17-20, 51-56) on Sunday at Steinbrenner Field to win the series three games to one. Bradenton scored in each of the last five innings in the second game to erase a 4-1 deficit and win 10-5 after the Yankees scored a 5-2 win in the first game. DH/1B Jordan Steranka recorded three hits in the second game.
NOTES: The doubleheader began at after a 174 minute rain delay at 1:54 p.m. under overcast skies, 81 degrees, and wind blowing 12 mph right to left ... Jeff Roy posted a three-hit game in the second game of the doubleheader ... The rain delay was the longest of the season for the Marauders ...
