August 2, 2015 - International League (IL1)
Indianapolis Indians News Release

INDIANAPOLIS -- Elias Diaz singled home two runs, Willy Garcia and Keon Broxton homered and the Indianapolis Indians swept the Charlotte Knights with a 4-2 win Sunday afternoon at Victory Field.

Broxton and Dan Gamache each drew a walk to open the third inning before Diaz bounced his two-run hit into right field to give the Indians an early 2-0 lead.

Garcia homered for his fifth hit of the last two games and the fourth of which went for extra bases. He doubled and cleared the fences yesterday and added a solo homer in today's finale.

Broxton followed with a solo home run of his own in the seventh. He also coaxed two walks to extend his on-base streak to 26 games, the longest stretch for the Tribe since the 2009 season.

Angel Sanchez improved 13-2 in 22 total starts and is now tied for the most wins in Minor League Baseball.
