The Mudcats look to wrap up a three game road sweep of the Blue Rocks tonight at Frawley Stadium in Wilmington. Carolina has won five straight games and now turn to RHP Andrew Thurman for the series finale start in Wilmington beginning at 5:05 p.m. Thurman last pitched on 7/28 at Five County Stadium against the visiting Frederick Keys and did not earn a decision. He managed to hold the Keys scoreless from the first through the third, but went on to allow four runs in the fourth before leaving the game. Carolina later came back and won the game and reliever Carlos Salazar earned the victory. Thurman is 4-3 and has posted a 3.86 ERA over nine starts this season with the Mudcats. He is 0-1 with a 7.50 ERA over three starts since returning from the DL (12ip, 16h, 10r, 10er, 4bb, 9so) on 7/18.
Tonight's game begins at 5:05 p.m. at Frawley Stadium in Wilmington, DE and will air on the Mudcats Radio Network with the pre game show beginning at 4:50 p.m.
