Pigs Try to Take Series from Tides

The Lehigh Valley IronPigs will look to win the series against the Norfolk Tides on Sunday afternoon at Coca-Cola Park. First pitch of the series finale is set for 1:35 p.m.

LHP Jesse Biddle (2-0, 4.05) gets the ball for the Pigs on Sunday. Biddle got a no-decision on Tuesday at Scranton/Wilkes-Barre after giving up two runs (one earned) on one hit while walking five and fanning four over five innings of work. Thus far in 4 GS with Lehigh Valley, the Philadelphia native has struck out 17 batters in 20.0 IP. Biddle was 7-2 with a 4.24 ERA in 15 starts with Double-A Reading this season.

RHP Steve Johnson (4-1, 3.05) will be on the bump for Norfolk. Johnson's last outing came on Thursday at Pawtucket when he struck out the side in a perfect inning of relief. The right-hander will be making just his second start of the season. His lone start to date was back on May 12 vs. Scranton/Wilkes-Barre when he took the loss after giving up two runs on three hits to go along with a pair of strikeouts over two innings of work.

The first 2,000 fans 17 and under will receive a Wiffle Ball & Bat set presented by UGI Utilities. Following the game, all children 12 and under can participate in Post Game Kids Run the Bases sponsored by Lehigh Valley Health Network. There is also post game On-Field Yoga presented by West End Yoga.
