August 1, 2015 - Pacific Coast League (PCL1)
El Paso Chihuahuas News Release

The Tacoma Rainiers beat the El Paso Chihuahuas 7-3 Friday and won three of the four games in the series. The Chihuahuas brought the tying run to the plate in the bottom of the ninth with two outs but Alex Dickerson's hard-hit ground ball with the bases loaded ended the game.

Travis Jankowski went 1-for-4 in the loss and now has hits in all eight of his Triple-A games. Chihuahuas' cleanup hitter Cody Decker went 3-for-5 with an RBI. Nick Vincent and Jerry Sullivan tossed scoreless late relief appearances, enabling El Paso's ninth-inning comeback attempt.

The Chihuahuas left 11 runners on base Friday and left 36 runners on base in the four-game series. El Paso and Tacoma split their 16 meetings with eight wins apiece. Of the eight games between the two teams at Southwest University Park, only one was decided by three runs or less.
