From the Notes

The Blair Project: Right-hander Aaron Blair has posted excellent numbers since a less-than-stellar Triple-A debut against Tacoma on June 17 at Aces Ballpark. In four starts since he allowed a career-high eight earned runs against the Rainiers, the 23-year-old has gone 3-0 with a 2.45 ERA (7 ER in 25 2/3 IP). He's struck out 20 batters against eight walks during the four-start stretch, which included a three-week layoff due to Blair pitching for Team USA who earned silver in the Pan-American Games.

10-Gamers: Both Brandon Drury and Mike Freeman have current 10-game hitting streaks for the Aces. They join Danny Dorn, Nick Evans and Jamie Romak who all have had 10-gamers earlier this season. The longest hitting streak by an Aces player this season is 15, set by Garrett Weber from April 27-May 13.

Peter's Pop: Aces outfielder Peter O'Brien's numbers have returned over his last nine games. During the stretch, he's hitting .323 (10-for-31) with 11 RBI, 10 runs, 4 home runs, 2 triples, 1 double and 3 walks to go with a 1.253 OPS. Over the previous 28 games from June 17-July 20, O'Brien hit .156 (15-for-96) with 27 strikeouts and a .482 OPS.
