A four-run sixth inning carried the El Paso Chihuahuas to a 5-1 win over the Tacoma Rainiers Thursday night at Southwest University Park. The victory ended Tacoma's five-game winning streak.

With the score tied 1-1 entering the bottom of the sixth, the Chihuahuas batted around, collecting four hits, including a solo home run by Cody Decker and RBI singles by Jake Goebbert and Travis Jankowski. Ramiro Pena's sacrifice fly in the inning chased Tacoma pitcher Logan Bawcom from the game.

Reliever Michael Dimock, who was transferred from Double-A San Antonio earlier in the day, threw 2.1 scoreless innings and got the win in his Triple-A debut. Jay Jackson and Frank Garces also pitched scoreless outings Thursday.

Jankowski went 2-for-4, his fifth consecutive multi-hit game. Pena, Alex Dickerson and Goebbert also had two hits each in the win for El Paso.
