Bees Return Home for Throwback Night on Saturday

SALT LAKE CITY (July 29, 2015) - The Salt Lake Bees return to Smith's Ballpark for a nine-game homestand against the Sacramento River Cats and Las Vegas 51s, beginning on Saturday, Aug. 1 at 7:05 p.m. Below is an overview of the theme nights, community activities, promotions, giveaways and other events during the Aug. 1-9 homestand.
Saturday, Aug. 1 vs. Sacramento River Cats, 7:05 p.m.
- Salt Lake Gulls Throwback Night. The Bees will become the Gulls for a night, complete with retro orange and teal uniforms and caps.
- Small sodas and popcorns will have 1970's pricing at $1 each.
- Salt Lake Gulls T-Shirt giveaway to the first 2,000 fans courtesy of Icon Health & Fitness.
- Sons of Baseball MVP visit.
- Student Neighborhood Access Program (SNAP) Postgame Kids Run on the field following the game.
Sunday, Aug. 2 vs. Sacramento River Cats, 1:05 p.m.
- Sunday 1:05 p.m. matinee start.
Monday, Aug. 3 vs. Sacramento River Cats, 7:05 p.m.
- Mondays are Smith's Family Night which includes four hot dogs and four game tickets for $20 at Smith'sTix locations.
- KTUB Juan 1600 AM Spanish language broadcast.
Tuesday, Aug. 4 vs. Sacramento River Cats, 7:05 p.m.
- Kids Eat Free Tuesday. All kids 12-and-under receive a voucher for a free hot dog, drink and snack.
Wednesday, Aug. 5 vs. Las Vegas 51s, 7:05 p.m.
- Los Angeles Angels vs. Salt Lake Bees Spring Training game pre-sale begins at10 a.m. Pre-sale registration is available at www.slbees.com.
- Wienerschnitzel $1 Hot Dog Night.
Thursday, Aug. 6 vs. Las Vegas 51s, 7:05 p.m.
- Thirsty Thursday with $2.75 drinks.
- Salt Lake Bees Baseball Cap Bank giveaway courtesy of Workfront to the first 2,000 fans.
Friday, Aug. 7 vs. Las Vegas 51s, 7:05 p.m.
- Salt Lake Bees team poster giveaway presented by Smith's.
- Student Neighborhood Access Program (SNAP) Postgame Kids Run on the field following the game.
Saturday, Aug. 8 vs. Las Vegas 51s, 6:35 p.m.
- Daddy-Daughter Date Night and Princess Night.
- Princess themed postgame fireworks presented by UA Local 140 and appearances from famous movie princesses during the game.
- Tiaras will be passed out to the first 1,000 girls 12-and-under in attendance.
- Special ticket offer includes a game ticket, hot dog and soda for $15 available at the Smith's Ballpark box office or by phone at (801) 325-BEES.
