Boise Hawks News Release

Boise, Idaho - The Boise Hawks announced today that Todd Rahr has resigned as team president after twelve seasons with the Hawks organization.

"First off, I want to thank Todd for all he has done and his many years of leading the Hawks," said Jeff Eiseman, team owner. "During his twelve-year tenure, Todd has put his heart and soul into this organization and the Boise Hawks would not be where they are today without him. We are grateful for all of his help since the ownership transition. Our success this season is in no small part because of Todd."

Rahr has been a mainstay with Hawks baseball over the years and will be greatly missed by the entire organization.

"It's emotional for me to leave the Hawks, a place where I've spent so many great years and have shared so many great memories," said Rahr. "The timing felt right for me to move on and spend more time with my family during the summers again. I want to thank the Boise Hawks organization, its fans and the city of Boise for showing us wonderful support over the years."

Rahr will still be a part of the organization as a team consultant for the remainder of the season.

Moving forward, General Manager, Bob Flannery will direct the Hawks. In addition to 16 years of minor league baseball experience, Flannery also has an extensive background in college athletics having worked at both the University of Massachusetts and the University of Nebraska Omaha.

In November 2014, Flannery was hired as the Hawks general manager after serving as the GM for two seasons with the Augusta GreenJackets (San Francisco Giants South Atlantic League affiliate).

"I want to thank Todd for everything he's done for the Hawks organization and also for the help and support he has given me in this transition," said Flannery. "Our mission will remain the same and that is to provide a fun, affordable and family friendly atmosphere for all of our guests. Boise is a great baseball town, we will continue to build on what Todd has started and Boise will get our best efforts at creating a great baseball experience."
