NEWS AND NOTES
STUCK IN THE MIDDLE: The Sea Dogs and Trenton Thunder (Yankees affiliate) play game two of their three-game series on Tuesday night at Arm & Hammer Park. With last night's loss, Trenton clinched the season series for the 10th time All-Time. Trenton took the series opener 3-2 on Monday night, scoring the go-ahead run on a ground out by Eddy Rodriguez in the sixth.
MORE ABOUT LAST NIGHT: Portland scored both runs on two-out RBI singles from Keury De La Cruz and Tim Roberson. Trenton received three hits from LF Danny Oh, who scored all three runs. Jaron Long (2-2) worked three scoreless in relief to earn his second straight win against Portland. Mike Augliera suffered his 14th loss - tied for the most in a single season in franchise history (Mark Johnson lost 14 in 1998).
