"We're excited to announce the Crowne Plaza as our host hotel," said Royals' President Drew Bell. "The Crowne Plaza is a marvelous facility located in an area that is convenient to restaurants and shopping with all of the amenities that you'd expect from a first rate hotel."

"We look forward to hosting ECHL teams-and their fans-coming to Reading to take on the Royals," said Laura Taylor. "Although we're big Royals' fans, we'll do all within our power to make sure that the visiting teams and their fans have the best of accommodations and hotel services while staying in our city."

The Crowne Plaza, which is conveniently located in the heart of the Reading's most active restaurant and shopping district on Papermill Road, offers a wide variety of amenities including an on-site gourmet restaurant (Prime Steak and Wine), a friendly lounge and bar (Goodnites Lounge and Night Club), a business service center, six different meeting spaces (with up to 20,000 square feet of available meeting space), and an oversized fitness center with a heated indoor pool.
