Hitt Allows No Runs to Lead Torrington Past Silver Knights 9-4

Robbie Hitt kept the Nashua Silver Knights (21-19) off the board during his six innings of work and the Torrington Titans (19-19) beat the Nashua Silver Knights, 9-4.

Hitt struck out five and allowed no walks and two hits.

The Torrington Titans came out swinging, scoring five runs in the first inning to jump ahead of the Nashua Silver Knights early. The Torrington Titans scored in the first on an error, an RBI single by Mike Conti, an RBI single by Joel Roman, an RBI single by Nick Garland, and a wild pitch.

Conti led the Torrington Titans' offensive threat, as he got on base four times in the game. He scored one run and had one RBI.

Ryan Moloney (3-3) took the loss for the Nashua Silver Knights. He allowed six runs in two innings, walked none and struck out two.
