ESTERO, FL - Florida Everblades President & General Manager Craig Brush along with Head Coach Greg Poss announced today that the team has agreed to terms with forward Maxime St. Cyr for the 2015-16 season.

St. Cyr (pronounced SAINT-sear), 21, joins the Everblades after leading the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) in goals last season with 54. In addition, the 5-7, 180-pound center also added 30 assists for a total of 84 points with the Baie-Comeau Drakkar. St. Cyr also recorded 15 points (12g, 3a) in just 12 playoff games this past spring.

"Maxime was a standout player in the QMJHL last season having led the league in goals," said Everblades Head Coach Greg Poss. "He plays hard, and is a very tenacious player. We are looking for him to be a contributor on our team this season."

The St. Charles, Quebec native totaled 203 career points (118g, 85a) during his five-year QMJHL career split between Baie-Comeau and the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies.
