Coyotes Sign Bunting

GLENDALE, ARIZONA - Arizona Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have signed forward Michael Bunting to a three-year, entry-level contract. As per club policy, terms of the contract were not disclosed.
The 19-year-old Bunting recorded 37-37-74 and a plus-44 rating in 57 games with the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds (OHL) in 2014-15. The 5-foot-11, 187-pound native of Scarborough, Ontario led the team in goals and finished third in points. He added 9-5-14 in 14 postseason games with the Greyhounds last season.
Bunting has totaled 52-64-116 and 73 penalty minutes (PIM) in 105 career OHL games. He was originally drafted by the Coyotes in the fourth round (117th overall) in the 2014 Entry Draft.
