Gregory Earns Third Weekly AFL Honor

TAMPA BAY - The Tampa Bay Storm is pleased to announce that wide receiver Julius Gregory has earned the Cutters Catch of the Week for his performance in the Storm's 53-65 loss to the New Orleans VooDoo.

Cutters Catch of the Week: Gregory (6-feet-4, 225 lbs., Shaw) opened up the game with a 41-yard touchdown reception on the Storm's opening drive versus New Orleans. He would finish the night with eight receptions for 97 yards and two touchdowns.

The Arena Football League Rookie of the Year candidate has now caught a touchdown in 10 consecutive games and 11 consecutive games played. He has 73 receptions for 837 yards and 23 touchdowns on the season. His 23 receiving touchdowns lead all rookies this season. Gregory is currently on pace to break 1,000 receiving yards in the coming weeks.

This is Gregory's third weekly Arena Football League award this season. He won the Cutters Catch of the Week award for his performances during weeks 12 and 13.

The Five-Time World Champion Tampa Bay Storm is in its 28th season in the Arena Football League. The Storm will host "Fan Appreciation Night," presented by Florida Hospital, when it hosts the LA Kiss on Saturday, August 1, on AMALIE Motor Oil Field at Amalie Arena.
