Forward Shea Groom out 4-6 Weeks with Right Foot Injury

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (July 13, 2015) - FC Kansas City announced today that rookie forward Shea Groom suffered a right foot second metatarsal fracture and will be out for four to six weeks after a collision with Boston Breakers goalkeeper Jami Kranich last Thursday at Soldiers Field Soccer Stadium where she had two assists and scored the game-winning goal.
The Liberty, Missouri native has played in all twelve games this season and leads FC Kansas City with four goals and two assists after being selected in the second round (No. 12 overall) of the 2015 NWSL College Draft.
