KSE CARE Summer Day of Service Thursday, July 9

As part of the 2015 MLS All-Star activities, nearly 300 KSE employees visited 19 community locations providing over 1,200 hours of volunteer service on Thursday, July 9.

"Our employees truly enjoy our KSE CARE (Community Assists Reflect Excellence) Day of Service, said Deb Dowling, Executive Director of Kroenke Sports Charities. "In just one day, we had the honor of visiting 19 community partner organizations donating over 1,200 hours of service which included painting, planting, serving lunch, organizing, cleaning and much more. It's a great day of helping so many groups which are the 'heart and soul' of Denver."

KSE staff, including many from the Rapids organization, participated in a Day of Service at Denver Urban Gardens on Thursday morning, helping to weed and edge the Globeville Community Garden at Clinica Tepeyac.

KSE Summer Day of Service featured participating agencies including:

- Mount Saint Vincent

- The Greenway Foundation

- Food Bank of the Rockies

- Sand Creek Greenway

- A Precious Child

- Denver Urban Gardens

- Friends of The Haven

- Denver Children's Home

- Ronald McDonald House

- Project Angel Heart

- Volunteers of America

- Denver Rescue Mission

- Jewish Family Service

- Clothes to Kids of Denver, Inc.

- State Veterans Community Living Center at Fitzsimons

- Warren Village
