Celebrity Softball Game Rosters for ConAgra Celebrity Fan Fest Announced

OMAHA, Neb. - The 2015 Triple-A All-Star Week will kick off this Sunday, July 12, with the ConAgra Foods Celebrity All-Star Fan Fest at Werner Park starting at 4:00 p.m. The free event is highlighted by the Celebrity Softball Game, with a 5:05 p.m. first pitch, and the rosters are officially set.
The "National League" and "American League" teams will feature 13 players each, made up of Nebraska sports celebrities and local personalities. Former Huskers running back Damon Benning, and current host of "Sharp and Benning in the Morning" on 1620 The Zone, will captain the National League team while fellow Husker alumnus Steve Warren will be the American League captain.
The National League headed by Benning is highlighted by professional MMA fighter Houston Alexander, country music artist Keith Andersen, former National Hockey League player Jed Ortmeyer, former Huskers softball pitcher Peaches James and Creighton Baseball Coach Ed Servais.
Warren's American League team boasts former All-Star outfielder and World Series Champion Darryl Strawberry, 2015 Boxing's Fighter of the Year Terrance "Bud" Crawford, Nebraska state champion and Huskers volleyball player Brooke Delano and former Omaha Royals player Dwayne Hosey.
