KALAMAZOO, MI - In partnership with the Kalamazoo Farmer's Market and People's Food Co-op, the Kalamazoo Growlers will play host to their inaugural "Farmer's Market Under the Lights" event at Homer Stryker Field. The Farmer's Market will take place this Thursday, July 9 from 6pm-10pm.

"We're so excited for the opportunity to host a Farmer's Market here at the stadium and bring a different experience to such an already great community event," said John Bollinger, Assistant General Manager of the Kalamazoo Growlers. "We love the opportunity to showcase the versatility of Homer Stryker Field and we've added a few things to make this really fun event for vendors and guests."

Roughly 35 local vendors will be participating in the event, which will be held on the outfield grass in right field. Entry to the event is free to the public and guests can enjoy an array of local food carts, adult beverages, an area for games (corn hole, giant Jenga, etc.), and live music from the local Megan Rae Band.

Michigan Blood will also be in attendance and hosting a blood drive at the event. Any guests who attempt to donate blood will receive a complimentary Growlers ticket to Michigan Blood's sponsored game night on Saturday, July 11.

This event kicks off a series of "night markets" organized by the Kalamazoo Farmer's Market. The next Night Market will be held at the Kalamazoo Farmer's Market at 1204 Bank Street in Kalamazoo on Thursday, July 16 from 6pm-10pm.
