Kalamazoo, MI.- From the first pitch forward, it was pretty clear that Garrett Harrison (LHP/St. Cloud State) was going to throw a gem. And the Bullfrogs offense provided the pop leading Green Bay (25-16/3-3) to an 8-0 victory over the Kalamazoo Growlers (11-30/3-5).

Harrison lasted 7IP/4H/4K-0BB and had a no-hitter through 4IP. He even got out of a bases loaded jam in the fifth inning after he got Marquise Gill to line out to Ty Blankmeyer (St. John's) who then doubled up the runner at second base.

Adam Rude (LHP/UW-Oshkosh) put up two scoreless innings in the final two frames in his Bullfrogs debut, facing the minimum as Green Bay only needed the Harrison-Rude combination to get the job done on the pitcher's mound.

Offensively, the Bullfrogs were able to capitalize with two outs and come up with timely hitting, highlighted by a 3-for-4 day from Brian Celsi (California) who also had two RBI with a run scored.

Celsi knocked home his first run of the game amid a two-strike count on a single to left field in the third inning against starter Keegan Baar (LHP/Michigan State). In the fifth, Celsi scored Ty Blankmeyer (St. John's) on another clutch two-out RBI knock. It was 2-0 Bullfrogs after five frames.

In the sixth inning, the Bullfrogs ripped the game open. Mikey Duarte singled home a run, and got caught in a pickle allowing Blankmeyer to score his second run of the contest, as Duarte got to second on a fielder's obstruction call.

The seventh saw more timely hitting this time from Mason George (Texas- San Antonio). George hit a two-run double plopped down the right-field line and scored on the same play as the ball was thrown into center field by pitcher Josh Alberius (Arkansas) trying to out George on a big turnaround second base. The score stood at 8-0 Bullfrogs.

The tally remained so as the Bullfrogs snapped a two-game losing streak and Skip Handelsman (631 victories) moved ahead of Eau Claire skipper, Dale Varsho, for the most managerial wins in Northwoods League history.

Garrett Harrison got the win (3-1/1.10ERA/40.2IP) and Keegan Baar was slapped with the loss (1-1/3.22ERA/22 1/3IP).

Green Bay plays the Battle Creek Bombers from C.O. Brown Stadium next to start a two-game series. Luke Lind (RHP/North Dakota State) takes the bump for his first start of the season.
