Ryan Costello had two extra base hits as the Bristol Blues (16-10) took home a 4-1 victory over the Pittsfield Suns (13-10) at Muzzy Field on Sunday.
He doubled in the second inning and tripled in the fourth inning.
Robert Paccione pitched lights out for the Bristol Blues. Paccione held the Pittsfield Suns hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one.
Rayne Supple got the win, running his season record to 1-0. Supple struck out one, walked two and gave up two hits.
Corey Wilson was charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just seven innings, walked two, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
