Winston-Salem Dash News Release

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (July 3, 2015) - BB&T Ballpark has welcomed more than 1.5 million fans in its first six seasons, and BB&T and the Winston-Salem Dash are giving one lucky fan the opportunity to take over the ballpark's namesake for a game through the 2015 BB&T Ballpark Ultimate Fantasy Fan Experience Sweepstakes.

Fans can register online HERE from now until Saturday, August 8. The winner of the sweepstakes will receive many amazing perks that only the face of the team can experience. First and foremost, all fans in attendance will enjoy a Dash game from a renamed BB&T Ballpark, which will feature the name of this year's winner. The winner will be honored during the Dash's final homestand of the season, which takes place August 27-30.

The lucky fan will also have the chance to take the field as the honorary 10th starter, receive his or her very own team jersey and locker in the clubhouse and deliver the official scorecard to the game umpires. Plus, the winner will receive the dugout suite for 19 guests on this special night.

Winston-Salem native Michael Shafit won the inaugural BB&T Ballpark Ultimate Fantasy Fan Experience Sweepstakes in 2012. Two years ago, Amanda Johnson saw her name displayed throughout the gorgeous downtown facility, which surpassed the one million fan mark quicker than any other in Class A-Advanced history. Jennifer Clark was last season's winner.

After a three-game series in Carolina, the Dash return to BB&T Ballpark for a three-game set starting on Saturday, July 4, with the Frederick Keys. After the Independence Day contest, all fans can enjoy a spectacular Fireworks Show, presented by WilcoHess. For your tickets, call the Dash at (336) 714-2287 or visit wsdash.com.
