Midland, TX - The Midland RockHounds handled the Arkansas Travelers 4-0 in the first game back from the All-Star Break on Thursday at Security Bank Ballpark.

Midland scored three runs in the second and one in the fourth off Travs starter RHP Michael Brady (L, 3-3).

Brady, who had issued only three walks in 47.2 innings coming into the start, walked four over four innings.

RHP Jake Sanchez (W, 6-5) worked six scoreless frames and allowed only four hits with a walk and five strikeouts.

RHP Tucker Healy, RHP Seth Frankoff and LHP Omar Duran each pitched a scoreless frame in relief of Sanchez.

For Arkansas, RHP Austin Adams and RHP Nate Hyatt both twirled two scoreless innings after Brady.

Drillers 3B Renato Nunez finished 2-for-4 with a double and a run, 1B Matt Olsen went 2-for-4 with a double and two runs, and C Bruce Maxwell accounted for three of the four RockHounds runs with a two-run single in the second, and an RBI fielder's choice in the fourth. Maxwell also doubled in the sixth.

No Travelers player had a multi-hit game.

With the loss, Arkansas has dropped four games in a row and is now 3-4 in the second half.

The two teams will play the middle game of the three-game series on Thursday at Security Bank Ballpark. RHP Kyle McGowin (4-6, 5.54) will toe the rubber for the Travs and will be opposed by LHP Dillon Overton who will be making his Double-A debut. First pitch is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
