Hey Now, You're an All-Star: Reno's Peter O'Brien and Jamie Romak were named as starters for the PCL All-Star Team earlier this morning. O'Brien will start in the outfield while Romak gets the nod at third base. It's the third straight year O'Brien will play in a midsummer classic, also doing so in the South Atlantic League (2013) and Eastern League (2014). As for Romak, it's the first All-Star nomination of his career.

Goodbye, June: The month of June featured a tale of two halves for the Aces. Through the first 14 games of the month, the Aces won just two times. Over the last 15 games, however, Reno went 11-4. The Aces began the month four games out of first place but now sit eight back of Fresno as July begins.

Romak Doing Damage: Nearly half (48%, 40-of-84) of Jamie Romak's hits this year have gone for extra bases. He has 25 doubles, 2 triples and 13 home runs, ranking ahead of Peter O'Brien (37) and Nick Evans (35) for the most extra-base hits on the team. His 152 total bases also ranks No. 1 among all batters in the PCL, one ahead of Tacoma's Jesus Montero.
