Ottawa Agrees to Terms with Forward Stortini

OTTAWA - The Ottawa Senators (@Senators) announced today that the club has agreed to terms with forward Zack Stortini on a two-year, two-way contract . The contract will carry an annual value of $600,000 in the National Hockey League and $175,000 in the American Hockey League in year one, and $600,000 (NHL) and $200,000 (AHL) in year two.

Stortini, 29, scored 13 goals and added 12 assists for 25 points in 76 games for the AHL's Lehigh Valley Phantoms last season, adding 184 penalty minutes.

Originally drafted by the Edmonton Oilers in third round (94th overall) of the 2003 NHL Entry Draft, Stortini has scored 14 goals and 27 assists, while adding 725 penalty minutes in 257 career NHL games with Edmonton and the Nashville Predators. In 442 career AHL games he has scored 43 goals, while adding 45 assists and 1,407 penalty minutes.
