Pacific Coast League 2015 Triple-A All-Star Game Roster Announced

OMAHA, Neb. - The Pacific Coast League today has unveiled its All-Stars for the First National Bank 2015 Triple-A All-Star Game on July 15 at 7:00 p.m. The 28th annual matchup will be broadcast live on MLB Network, the American Forces Network and the Triple-A All-Star Game Radio Network.

Storm Chasers manager Brian Poldberg will oversee the PCL All-Star club, featuring 30 of the best players from across the league. Thirteen players were elected by balloting of the club's field managers and general managers, members of the media, and online fan voting, while 17 were selected by the Pacific Coast League office. The roster includes Storm Chasers pitchers John Lamb and Louis Coleman.

John Lamb was named to the Pacific Coast League All-Star Starters and is the only pitcher in the league with eight wins, tied for the most at any stop in his career and second most in a full season. The left-hander also owns the fifth best earned run average in the PCL at 2.71 ERA, tops for the Storm Chasers. Lamb has racked up 70 strikeouts, one of eight pitchers in the league with 70 or more this season.

Louis Coleman was named to the Pacific Coast League All-Star Reserves, his second All-Star selection for Omaha in the last three seasons (did not participate in 2013 Triple-A All-Star Game due to a promotion to Kansas City). Coleman leads Storm Chasers relievers with six saves, one of 16 pitchers in the PCL with six or more, and a 1.42 ERA with 18 scoreless appearances out of 23 games in 2015.

The PCL All-Star Starters include two players from Oklahoma City, Reno and Tacoma, with Dodgers catcher Austin Barnes and second baseman Darnell Sweeney, Reno outfielder Peter O'Brien and former Storm Chasers third baseman Jamie Romak for the Aces, and first baseman Jesus Montero and shortstop Ketel Marte for the Rainiers. Fresno outfielder L.J. Hoes, Albuquerque outfielder Matt McBride and El Paso designated hitter Cody Decker round out positions players, while New Orleans starter Adam Conley and relievers Jon Edwards of Round Rock and Sam Tuivailala of Memphis are the other pitching starters.

The PCL All-Star Reserves are headlined by Los Angeles Dodgers top prospect Corey Seager, one of the top prospects in all of Major League Baseball. Other notables PCL Reserves include infielder Arismendy Alcantara from Iowa and first baseman slugger Adam Duvall from Sacramento.
