Idaho Steelheads News Release
Boise, ID (6/30/2015) - Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Brad Ralph announced Tuesday that defenseman Jake Rutt has agreed to terms with the ECHL's Idaho Steelheads for the 2015-16 season.
The 24-year-old Rutt turned pro late last season, joining the Steelheads for the stretch run and postseason after wrapping up his college career at the University of Maine, where he served as the alternate captain for the Black Bears during his senior season. The left-shot blue-liner found his feet as a professional quickly, posting an impressive plus-15 plus/minus rating in the fifteen total games he played with Idaho.
