Louisville's Fondy Voted USL Player of the Week

TAMPA, Fla. - Louisville City FC forward Matt Fondy has been voted the USL Player of the Week for the 15th week of the 2015 season after he recorded a hat trick in Louisville's 6-2 victory against OKC Energy FC on Saturday night.

Fondy earned 53 percent of the vote, which was conducted by a national panel of independent media representing every USL market. Fondy's Louisville teammate Magnus Rasmussen finished second with 20 percent.

GK - Charlie Lyon, Seattle Sounders FC 2: Earned a second consecutive selection after setting a club record with a 10-save shutout against Real Monarchs SLC

D - Timbo, Austin Aztex: Strong overall performance as Austin claimed a point after a scoreless draw with Sacramento

M - Rodrigo Lopez, Sacramento Republic FC: Notched a pair of goals as Sacramento took a 3-1 win against Tulsa

M - Magnus Rasmussen, Louisville City FC: Had two goals and two assists as Louisville rebounded with a 6-2 win against OKC

M - Konrad Plewa, New York Red Bulls II: Scored twice as New York took its third consecutive victory on the road by defeating Saint Louis

M - Scott Morrison, Arizona United SC: Had a stoppage-time winner as Arizona claimed a key victory against Real Monarchs SLC

F - Bradford Jamieson IV, LA Galaxy II: Marked his return to action with two goals in a 4-2 win against the Roughnecks

F - Matt Fondy, Louisville City FC: Recorded a hat trick, taking him to 25 goals all-time in the USL, as City defeated OKC Energy FC

F - Dane Kelly, Charleston Battery: Scored a pair of outstanding goals as Charleston took a 4-1 win against Harrisburg
