Medicine Hat, AB - Medicine Hat Tigers have acquired import defenceman Tamas Laday from the Spokane Chiefs in exchange for an 8th round pick in the 2016 Bantam Draft.
The 19 year old, 6' 6" defenceman from Szekesfehervar, Hungary put up 6 assists and 104 penalty minutes in his first season in the WHL after being selected by the Chiefs 42nd overall in the 2014 CHL Import Draft.
"Tamas is a big physical defender that competes hard. He will add depth and experience to our back end. We are excited to add Tamas to our team and look forward to seeing him in camp." stated General Manager and Head Coach Shaun Clouston.
