Rosters Set for 79th Texas League All-Star Game

CORPUS CHRISTI - Third baseman/designated hitter Tyler White is Corpus Christi's entry in the Stripes Home Run Derby Tuesday at Whataburger Field.
The contest begins at 5:45 and features the Texas League home run co-leaders: Frisco infielder Drew Robinson and Northwest Arkansas first baseman Balbino Fuenmayor, who both have 15 homers in 2015. Fuenmayor's teammate and fellow derby entry, outfielder Jorge Bonifacio, is next among league leaders with 13.
The two Naturals are teamed with Springfield catcher Mike Ohlman (7) and another Cardinal, outfielder Jeremy Hazelbaker (3), on the North squad.
White (7) and Robinson are joined by two Midland RockHounds representing the South, first baseman Matt Olson (8) and infielder Colin Walsh (8).
The 79th Texas League All-Star Game, presented by CITGO, gets underway Tuesday at 7:30. Hooks ace right-hander Chris Devenski (7-1/1.16) gets the start for the South.
Gates open 4 p.m., and the Gulf Coast FCU FanFest runs from 3-6 p.m.
