Prospect Report: Dustin Rinaldo

June 29, 2015 - North American Hockey League (NAHL)
Minnesota Magicians News Release

The Minnesota Magicians drafted forward Dustin Rinaldo in the 6th Round (#114 Overall) of the 2015 North American Hockey League (NAHL) Draft. A native of Middle Village, New York, Rinaldo most recently played hockey in the Tier I Elite Hockey League (T1EHL) with the U18 Pittsburgh Penguins Elite.  In 32 games last season, he contributed 10 goals and 12 assists for a total of 22 points.

Magicians head coach Tom Upton said of Rinaldo, "Dustin is a big strong power forward who played AAA hockey last season at one of the top programs in the Pittsburgh Pens Elite. He competes extremely hard, gets to the net, and will do the dirty work down-low and in the corners to help create offense for himself and his line mates. We are extremely excited to have drafted him and look forward to what the future holds for Dustin as a person and hockey player."

Rinaldo will compete for a spot on the Magicians' initial roster at the team's Main Tryout Camp in late July. Follow all of the latest news and information on Minnesota Magicians hockey at www.magicianshockey.com, and on social media on Facebook and Twitter.
