Today's Game: The Oklahoma City Dodgers try to avoid a third straight loss when they continue their four-game series against the Nashville Sounds at 6:35 p.m. at First Tennessee Park. The Dodgers have dropped four of their last six games, including the first two games of the series.

Last Game: Nashville built a seven-run lead through four innings on the way to a 7-2 win Saturday against the Dodgers at First Tennessee Park Saturday night. The Sounds scored their first runs in the first inning when Jason Pridie hit a two-out, two-run single to center field. Nashville took a 3-0 lead in the third inning. Craig Gentry got on base due to catcher's interference and later scored on a RBI single by Ryan Roberts. Nashville added four runs in the fourth inning. Niuman Romero connected on a RBI single before Andy Parrino knocked a three-run homer to left-center field to take a 7-0 lead. Oklahoma City got on the scoreboard in the fifth inning when Darwin Barney led off with his first homer of the season to left field to cut Nashville's lead to 7-1. In the eighth inning, Luis Mateo picked up his first RBI with OKC on a groundout to make it 7-2. Nashville starting pitcher Sean Nolin (2-1) earned the win, holding the Dodgers to one run and eight hits over a season-high 5.2 innings. He walked two and struck out three. Oklahoma City starting pitcher Ian Thomas (3-1) allowed seven runs (six earned) and eight hits in the loss. He walked two and struck out five.

Today's Probable Pitcher: Scott Baker (6-3) is looking to win for the third time in as many starts and pick up a fifth consecutive winning decision...In his last start Tuesday against Colorado Springs in Oklahoma City, Baker held the Sky Sox to one run and three hits over 6.0 innings. After allowing a two-out RBI single in the first inning, he proceeded to retire the final 16 batters he faced. The outing was his first since being placed on the Disabled List June 12 with a minor back injury...Baker has been in a groove of late, allowing just five runs and 19 hits over his last four starts combined (1.55 ERA). Each start has lasted 6.0 innings, with three going at least 7.0 innings... His 0.96 WHIP currently ranks third-best in the league, and his .235 opponent average is fourth-best...His 0.81 walks per nine innings paces PCL starting pitchers. He's posted an extremely impressive 45/6 strikeout-to-walk ratio over 66.1 IP with OKC (7.5 K/BB) and has allowed just one walk over his last three starts combined (20.0 IP)...In 11 starts with OKC, Baker has allowed one or no runs seven times...Tonight marks his third start of the season against Nashville. In his first two outings he's gone 1-0, allowing two runs and nine hits over 12.0 IP.

Against the Sounds: 2015: 10-4 2014: 6-10 All-time: 154-132 In NAS: 71-72

Nashville has won back-to-back games against Oklahoma City for the first time this season...This is the fourth and final series between the teams this season. Oklahoma City won the first three series of the season after failing to win any of the four series against the Sounds last year...The Dodgers most recently swept Nashville June 11-14 in Bricktown and have won nine of the last 12 meetings with the Sounds...During their previous series in Nashville April 21-24, the Dodgers won the first three games before the Sounds avoided the sweep in the finale...Over the first 14 meetings, the OKC pitching staff has 123 strikeouts (125.2 IP).

Winning Waylay: Even though they have lost four of their last six games, the Dodgers are 13-5 over their last 18 games and 14-6 over their last 20 games...The Dodgers are one of only two teams in the Minors with at least 48 wins. The Double-A Corpus Christi Hooks pace the Minors with 50 victories.

Bump in the Road: Despite losing the first two games of the current road trip, the Dodgers have won 11 of their last 16 road games and own the league's best road record at 24-13. It's just the second time this season they've lost consecutive road games and the first time since a four-game road skid May 11-13 (two games on May 11)...The Dodgers are in the midst of a stretch where 25 of 33 games are on the road.

On the Mend: Brandon League (right shoulder impingement) continued his rehab assignment last night, throwing a scoreless sixth inning. He's now made four appearances, totaling 4.2 IP and has allowed two runs (one earned) and five hits with three strikeouts. League is schedule to pitch next Monday night...In his second game on rehab assignment with OKC, Brandon Beachy (Tommy John surgery) allowed one run and two hits over a season high 4.0 innings Friday. He's scheduled to start Wednesday in Memphis.

Darwin's Evolution: Darwin Barney went 3-for-5 last night, marking his second three-hit game in his past four contests. Since rejoining the OKC Dodgers, Barney has hit safely in six of seven games, recording four multi-hit games. He's gone 12-for-27 (.444) with a home run, three doubles, four RBI, and six runs scored. His homer leading off the fifth inning last night was his first dinger since Sept. 17, 2014 while playing for the L.A. Dodgers in a game against the Colorado Rockies at Coors Field.

A Real Barnes Burner: Austin Barnes has hit safely in 13 of his last 15 games (13/14 starts), batting .393 (22x56) with 13 RBI and 10 runs scored. He's collected five multi-hit games, including three games with at least three hits.

O'Koyea is O'K: O'Koyea Dickson is currently riding a season-best seven-game hitting streak, going 10-for-23 (.435) with six extra-base hits and three RBI. Last night he notched a pair of doubles and walked. He's collected back-to-back multi-hit games for the first time since doing it in three straight, May 12-14.

Glove Doctor: The Dodgers have committed eight errors over the past four games, including five the past two nights. The team is now 3-8 when committing more than one error in a game this season...The Dodgers turned three double plays Saturday night and have turned eight double plays over their last four games combined. Their 71 double plays this season rank seventh in the league.

RISPy Business: After batting .366 with runners in scoring position over the previous eight games, the Dodgers were held 0-for-12 with runners in scoring position last night. On the other hand, Nashville was 7-for-15 with runners in scoring position, after batting just .172 against OKC throughout the season series prior to last night.
