Today's Game: The Oklahoma City Dodgers continue their four-game series against the Nashville Sounds at 6:35 p.m. at First Tennessee Park. The Dodgers have dropped three of their last five games and will look to avoid losing consecutive games for the first time since their five-game losing streak, June 1-5.

Last Game: The lead changed hands twice in the ninth inning, with Nashville notching a 3-2 victory after a wild finish at First Tennessee Park Friday night. The Dodgers trailed the Sounds, 1-0, before mounting a ninth-inning comeback. A sacrifice fly by Corey Seager scored Darnell Sweeney to tie the game and Chris Heisey ripped a RBI triple to right-center field to give Oklahoma City a 2-1 lead. With two outs in the bottom of the ninth, Craig Gentry and Joey Wendle hit back-to-back singles to put runners at the corners. With the count 2-2 to Ryan Roberts, Chin-Hui Tsao (2-1) unleashed his first wild pitch of the season. Catcher Brian Ward picked up the ball near the backstop and threw to Tsao covering the plate, but the ball caromed off Tsao's glove and went into the Nashville dugout, allowing both Gentry and Wendle to score. Nashville took the first lead of the game in the bottom of the third inning on a sacrifice fly by Wendle for a 1-0 lead. The game entered a rain delay in the top of the sixth inning and after 90 minutes, play resumed. Ryan Cook (3-1) got the win for Nashville.

Today's Probable Pitcher: Ian Thomas (3-0) tries for his fourth win in five outings with Oklahoma City as he returns from a stint with the Los Angeles Dodgers...Thomas spent June 22-25 with Los Angeles, but did not make an appearance. He was optioned back to OKC on June 26 when Pedro Baez was activated off the Disabled List...He most recently started on June 17 in Colorado Springs, holding the Sky Sox to one run and five hits over a season-high 6.0 innings. He struck out four and did not allow a walk in a no decision...Thomas was acquired by the Dodgers as part of a six-player trade with the Atlanta Braves on May 27. Traditionally a relief pitcher throughout his career, Thomas has been moved into the starting rotation since joining OKC, and the Dodgers have won all three of his starts. Today will be just his 21st career start out of 114 career appearances...Prior to the trade, Thomas made a combined 14 appearances within the Braves organization between Atlanta, Triple-A Gwinnett, and Double-A Mississippi. He allowed a total of three runs (two earned) and nine hits over 21.0 IP...Tonight marks his second start against the Sounds. On June 12 in OKC, Thomas earned a win after holding the Sounds to two runs on seven hits over 5.1 innings.

Against the Sounds: 2015: 10-3 2014: 6-10 All-time: 154-131 In NAS: 71-71

This is the fourth and final series between the teams this season. Oklahoma City won the first three series of the season after failing to win any of the four series against the Sounds last year...The Dodgers most recently swept Nashville June 11-14 in Bricktown and have won nine of the last 11 meetings with the Sounds...During their previous series in Nashville April 21-24, the Dodgers won the first three games before the Sounds avoided the sweep in the finale...Over the first 13 meetings, the OKC pitching staff has 114 strikeouts (117.2 IP) and has held Nashville 21-for-122 with runners in scoring position (.172).

Winning Ways: Last night the Dodgers fell short in their third attempt to reach 25 games above .500. Even though they have lost three of their last five games, the Dodgers are 13-4 over their last 17 games and 14-5 over their last 19 games...The Dodgers are one of only two teams in the Minors with at least 48 wins. The Double-A Corpus Christi Hooks pace the Minors with 50 victories.

Road Warriors: The Dodgers have won 11 of their last 15 road games and own the league's best road record at 24-12. Yesterday began a stretch during which the Dodgers will play 25 of 33 games on the road.

On the Mend: In his second game on rehab assignment with OKC, Brandon Beachy (Tommy John surgery) allowed one run and two hits over a season high 4.0 innings last night, throwing a total of 60 pitches (37 strikes). Brandon League (right shoulder impingement) is scheduled to continue his rehab assignment and appear tonight and Monday.

Ninth Inning Drama: In each of OKC's last three games, the winning team trailed entering its final at-bat. The Dodgers have lost two of those games, with each defeat occurring not only after their opponent had none on with two outs in the ninth inning, but after having their opponent down to the final strike at least at one point. Prior to that, OKC had won 62 consecutive games when taking a lead into their opponent's at-bat in the ninth inning (35 wins this year)...As a team, the Dodgers have been charged with three blown saves over their last five games and four blown saves over their last nine games. They had just two blown saves through the first 64 games of the season.

Great Scott: Scott Schebler went 0-for-4 last night, snapping his season-high nine-game hitting streak. Schebler batted .483 (14x29), with five extra-base hits, 11 RBI, and six runs scored during the streak. In his last eight games, he's reached base safely in 18 of 33 plate appearances (.545 OBP)...After batting .208 through the end of May, Schebler is hitting .338 in June.

A Real Barnes Burner: Austin Barnes has hit safely in 12 of his last 14 games (12/13 starts), batting .404 (21x52) with 13 RBI and 10 runs scored. He's collected five multi-hit games, including three games with at least three hits.

O'Koyea is O'K: O'Koyea Dickson is currently riding a season-best six-game hitting streak, going 8-for-20 with four extra-base hits and three RBI. Through the first eight innings last night, Dickson accounted for two of the team's three hits and three of their four base runners.

By the Buchter: Ryan Buchter escaped a bases loaded jam last night, marking his 13 consecutive scoreless appearance. Over his last 15.0 innings, he's allowed just seven hits with four walks and 15 strikeouts. Buchter's ERA currently stands at a miniscule 0.66 and his .172 opponent average is best among PCL relievers.

Glove Doctor: The Dodgers committed a season-high three errors last night, with the final one ultimately sealing their fate. Over the past three games, the Dodgers have committed six errors, and seven of the last 10 runs allowed by the pitching staff have been unearned...The Dodgers are now 3-7 when committing more than one error in a game this season.
