Rosters for the 2015 SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game, which will be played at 3:00 p.m. (ET) on Sunday, July 12th at Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati, were announced by Major League Baseball earlier today on MLB Network's "MLB Central" and MLB.com.

Major League Baseball, in conjunction with the Major League Baseball Scouting Bureau, MLB.com, Baseball America and the 30 Major League Clubs, selected the 25 players currently on each team. Each Major League organization is represented and players from all full-season Minor Leagues were eligible to participate. The teams feature 13 former first round draft picks (all U.S.), four players picked in Compensation Round A (U.S. - 3; World - 1) and two second round picks (both U.S.). Among the 13 first round picks, six were selected in the 2014 Draft, three in the 2013 Draft, two in the 2012 Draft and two in the 2011 Draft.

The World Team features players from seven different countries and territories outside the 50 United States. The Dominican Republic is represented by 13 players, followed by Venezuela (5) and Puerto Rico (3). Curacao, Germany, Nicaragua and Taiwan are each represented by one player on the World Team.

The SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game will last nine innings, and in the event of a tie, a 10th inning will be played. The game will not go longer than 10 innings, regardless of the score. Players and coaches will be outfitted in special SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game caps and jerseys.

The Minor League Baseball Umpires who will work the SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game are Ron Teague (home plate) of the Texas League, Dan Merzel (first base) of the Eastern League, Javerro January (second base) of the Southern League and Junior Valentine (third base) of the Eastern League.

The SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game, which is now in its 17th year, features the top Minor League prospects competing in a nine-inning contest as part of All-Star Sunday. The U.S. Team, which has won each of the last five contests, leads the all-time series, 10-6. As part of its live All-Star Week programming, MLB Network will exclusively televise and MLB.com will live stream the SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game at 3:00 p.m. (ET), with Matt Vasgersian, Dan Plesac, Heidi Watney and MLB.com's Jonathan Mayo on the call live from Great American Ball Park.

SiriusXM, the Official Satellite Radio Partner of Major League Baseball, will provide live play-by-play coverage of the SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game on MLB Network Radio (XM channel 89; Sirius channel 209) in addition to SiriusXM's other comprehensive live coverage from Cincinnati. The game will also be available to SiriusXM subscribers on the SiriusXM Internet Radio App for smart phones and mobile devices and online at SiriusXM.com. All-Star Sunday is the first of three days of All-Star events at Great American Ball Park, culminating with the 86th All-Star Game on Tuesday, July 14th.

The Baseball Tomorrow Fund (BTF) announced today its 2015 SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game "BTF Kids Take the Field," featuring nine youth players from Cincinnati-based baseball and softball organizations that have been BTF grant recipients in the past. To celebrate its 16th anniversary, BTF invited children from six organizations to take the field during the pre-game ceremony. The children, who will be joined by the U.S. Team players, were nominated for participation by their youth organization.

This year's "BTF Kids Take the Field" includes 9-year-old Jonathan Peer (Grant County Little League); 8-year-old Casey Hulme (The Dunham Reds Rookie Success League); 9-year-old Tanner Goodin (The Dunham Reds Rookie Success League); 10-year-old Chyla Miller (Reds Rookie Success League of Butler County); 8-year-old Dylan Heath (Reds Rookie Success League of Butler County); 10-year-old Marcus McCurdy (Reds Rookie Success League of Butler County); 9-year-old Javion Bostic (The Cincinnati Recreation Commission's Bush Center); 13-year-old Cal Carter (The Joe Nuxhall Miracle League); and 9-year-old Jay'Quan Bostic (The Cincinnati Recreation Commission's Bush Center).

"Cincinnati has a strong network of youth baseball and softball leagues and programs, and we have enjoyed working with local organizations, including these six groups, to help provide quality programs and facilities to young players from across the area," said Cathy Bradley, Executive Director of the Baseball Tomorrow Fund. "We extend special thanks to the Cincinnati Reds, a key supporter of local youth baseball and softball outreach, and look forward to our continued involvement in this area for years to come."

The Baseball Tomorrow Fund, a joint initiative of Major League Baseball and the Major League Baseball Players Association, promotes the game by awarding grants to youth baseball and softball programs and facilities. Since 2000, BTF has awarded $210,000 to 10 Cincinnati-based organizations, including Eaton Community Athletic, Arts and Wellness Fund of the St. Clair Foundation ($70,000.00), Village of Lockland ($5,000.00), Fairfield Community Foundation ($40,000.00), Troy Junior Baseball ($5,000.00), Warren County Foundation ($55,000.00), Cincinnati Recreation Foundation ($10,000.00), The Joe Nuxhall Miracle League Fields ($5,000.00), Activities Beyond the Classroom ($15,000.00), Grant County Little League ($5,000.00) and the Village of Silverton ($5,000.00). BTF has also co-hosted four annual field maintenance clinics in Cincinnati in conjunction with the Reds Community Fund, serving more than 65 organizations and 100 attendees.

The 2015 All-Star Game will be played at Great American Ball Park on Tuesday, July 14th. The 86th All-Star Game will be televised nationally by FOX Sports; in Canada by Rogers Sportsnet and RDS; and worldwide by partners in more than 160 countries.
