Saigeon Named to Under 18 Camp

HAMILTON, ONT. - Hamilton Bulldogs forward Brandon Saigeon has been named to Canada's National Men's Summer Under-18 Team selection camp.
The Grimsby native potted eight goals and 18 assists last season. He also took part in the Under 17 tournament last year in Sarnia. Playing for Canada Black, Saigeon picked up one assist in five games.
Saigeon will join 42 other players at the camp which will take place in Calgary, Alberta. From there 22 will be selected for Canada's National Men's Summer Under-18 Team for the 2015 U18 Ivan Hlinka Memorial Cup, Aug. 10-15 in Breclav, Czech Republic and Piestany, Slovakia.
Canada has won the summer under-18 tournament seven consecutive years and 10 of the last 11.
