Royals Announce 2015-16 Pre-Season Schedule

Victoria, BC- The Victoria Royals today announced their pre-season schedule in preparation for the 2015-16 Western Hockey League regular season.

The Royals will play a total of seven exhibition games against teams from both the BC and US Divisions. Victoria will make their third consecutive trip to Everett, WA for the Silvertips' annual Pre-Season Classic at Xfinity Arena. The trip will see the Royals play three games, with their first contest coming on Friday, September 4th against Everett at 7:00 p.m. Victoria will then play the Seattle Thunderbirds on Saturday, September 5th at 3:00 p.m. before concluding the tournament on Sunday, September 6th against the Tri-City Americans at 11:30 a.m.

The Royals will then travel to Vancouver the following weekend for a matchup versus the Giants on Saturday, September 12th at Ladner Leisure Centre at 4:00 p.m.

Victoria's lone home contest of the pre-season is set for Sunday, September 13th when they host the Vancouver Giants. Puck drop is set for 2:00 p.m. at Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre.

The Royals will wrap-up their pre-season on the road with a pair of games vs. the Seattle Thunderbirds on Friday, September 18th and the Everett Silvertips on Saturday, September 19th. Friday's contest is scheduled for 7:35 p.m., while Saturday's game is set for 7:05 p.m.
